Cowboys on NFTs

A brief rant

Howdy, folks. It's your friendly neighborhood cowboy here, and I'm here to talk to y'all about NFTs. Now, I don't know much about fancy tech talk or digital doodads, but I reckon I can tell you a thing or two about a good ol' fashioned cowboy hat and boots.
But I've been hearing a lot of buzz about these NFTs lately, and let me tell you, it's got me a little confused. Now, from what I gather, NFTs are digital assets that are bought and sold using fancy computer programs and whatnot. They're supposed to be the future of art, music, and other creative endeavors.
But as a cowboy, I can't help but wonder - what happened to the good old-fashioned way of doing things? Back in the day, we didn't have all these fancy computer programs and digital assets. We had our boots, our hats, and our trusty horses. We created art and music with our hands and our hearts, not with a computer program.
I mean, call me old-fashioned, but I reckon there's something to be said for the real, tangible things in life. Give me a good ol' fashioned painting on a canvas or a real-life guitar any day over some digital asset that only exists in a computer program.
And don't even get me started on the price tags that these NFTs are fetching. I've heard of some selling for millions of dollars! Now, I don't know about you, but I can think of a whole lot of things that are worth a whole lot more than a digital asset. Like a good horse, or a sturdy fence, or a hot cup of coffee on a cold morning.
So, I reckon I'll stick to my boots and my hat, and leave the digital world to the city slickers. Maybe one day I'll be proved wrong, but until then, I'll keep on ridin' and stickin' to the good ol' fashioned ways. After all, sometimes the simplest things in life are the best.
